Hai Ya is the old neighbourhood directly south of the moat, between Chiang Mai Gate and Suan Prung Gate. Wualai Road is home to silversmiths, Wat Sri Suphan (the silver temple) and the Saturday Walking Street, and Chiang Mai Gate Market is on the doorstep. Listings are mostly houses and shophouses, with the Central Chiangmai Airport mall a short drive south.
