Huay Kaew Road runs from the Old City's north-west corner past MAYA, Chiang Mai University and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna to the zoo and Huay Kaew waterfall at the foot of Doi Suthep. Low- and mid-rise condos here are marketed on being close to campus, and the eastern end blends into Nimman.
