Pa Daet lies south of the city between Mahidol Road and the Ping River, crossed by the middle ring road. It is mostly gated estates of detached houses and townhomes, suited to families who want more space within reach of town. The Central Chiangmai Airport mall sits on its northern edge; plan on a car for daily errands.
